I was born in England but am now a Canadian citizen.

I am proud to be a Canadian citizen but can never forget my roots.
I still have a slight accent from my native town Blyth in North East England.
The original accent is "Geordie" or Tyneside but it is now mixed with Western Canadian and is apparently hard to pinpoint.
Local people think I have an English accent. Americans think I am Canadian. Geordies think I sound American. People from the South of England think I came from Scotland and the Scots think I'm English.
