Last spring I was given a peony Tree as a gift
because I had always wanted one.

We were pleased to see some flowers developing
at the end of April this year.

On the morning of May 13th the buds were about to open.

The next morning the rain came but the flowers continued to open

By evening they had broken out in their full glory.
